PULse 02

The second series of PULse was to become part of the Live Inter-Face Conference LIsbon, November 2014.

What you see is the real-time heart rate (BPM) of the artist collaboarting with the video image. The beats per minute are captured in the heart shaped graphic on the bottom right of the screen. Once the (BPM) reaches 70+ the water and olive oil begin to dissolve into each other and at 70- (BPM) they separate.

The theme of the Inter-Face conference was focused on 'flow' 'time' and 'immediacy'. In order to orchestrate the idea of 'flow' this work was shown as tryptych to keep a constant flow of the movement and liquids.
