Video stills of practice-led research

Lorna's research began with exploring the extent one could In[body] the digital other (to step inside the image and experience a cross-over between the corporeal Self and digital Other). She has coined the term In[body] to articulate a 'suspension'  - a  literal feeling of be[ing] in the body of another. Her term be[ing] is described as being in the moment - in the here and now/there to explain the experience of crossing these modalities afforded by real-time video technologies.

Currnenly Lorna is exploring body swapping experiments using HMDs and heart rate bio sensors to suspend the body in the Other as an inter-corporeal experience. She is hoping to develop these ideas even further through mind mapping technology where one can think their art experience.
